1. Finish high school, even if you aren’t planning on going to college.

You will need to have all good grades on your tests, not just your homework to determine how smart you are. Remember that football teams won’t take you in if you fail.

Even football players have to be smart; don’t let the stereotype that all athletes are stupid deter your efforts.

2. Attend college.

 Even if you think you won’t need to know anything besides football, always have a backup plan. It will give you a great start and that’s what will make you think as a football player.

Don’t be afraid to take a chance and approach a football team that you think is out of your league- and don’t turn them down if THEY approach YOU. Do not try another method unless you think it’s okay to play it safe!Try to attend all practices and games.
