SBGC One-on-One Advising

If you are exploring an idea for your business or are in the early stages of getting your company off the ground, one-on-one advising could help. SBGC advisors can help you assess your business model, explore your company’s strategy, or strategize around your marketing and sales. You do not need to be a member of the SBGC to participate in one-on-one advising. To participate, you can apply online. You can apply as an individual, or you can be part of a team working on a specific project. Applications are accepted year-round and are reviewed on a rolling basis. Once you have applied and been approved to participate in one-on-one advising, you will be matched with an advisor based on your project focus. You will then schedule an advising session with your advisor via Zoom, a video conferencing platform. You can select a 30-minute session or a 60-minute session. The advising sessions are free to participate in.
