  • Use geographic and topographic data to construct digital maps
  • Create/develop new or improved mapping and data analyzing software, tools, and applications
  • Regularly produce reports pertaining to mapped data
  • Identify trends, patterns, and routes of travel, commerce, population migration, etc.
  • Oversee the data mining for map production
  • Collaborate with state and local entities to increase the depth of data for more robust mapping systems

  • Prior experience working with related computer software systems, such as Java, HTML, CSS QGIS, Carto, etc.
  • Ability to work independently or in teams
