Considerations before applying for the Nysc Senate.
– Age: Candidates must be between the ages of 16 and 35 years old by 31 December 2020. – Experience: There is no minimum work experience required.
However, we do look at each application holistically and will consider your past experiences and achievements.
– Seniority in your organisation and your capacity to lead: You should be a senior member in your organisation and have capacity to lead and influence peers in your group.
This is an essential requirement for this role.
– Leadership potential: You should have a passion for youth development and be ready to take initiative.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate, driven and ready to take the next step in their career as a youth leader.

– Availability: You should be available to attend the bi-annual senate meetings, which usually happen in the third week of January and third week of July every year.
These dates are fixed and cannot be changed.
