Latest News from Npower

Npower made a big change to its tariffs with the launch of its new SVT tariff. SVT stands for ‘Smart Variable Tariff’ and offers a number of benefits to customers, like being fully online and reward-based. The tariff is also 100% automated and hands-off so you don’t have to worry about missing a payment, having a bad credit rating or being disconnected.

Npower has also made a change in the way that it charges for missed payments. Instead of taking a £30 penalty fee, you will now be charged £35 for the first missed payment and £35 for each missed payment after that.

Npower is also launching a new SVT tariff with a no-locked-in period. This no-locked-in period SVT tariff will let you change your tariff as many times as you like during the tariff period.

Smart meter roll out explained

npower news: We’ve also been keeping you updated on our Smart Meter rollout. We’ve been working closely with our customers to making the move to Smart Meters as seamless as possible for everyone. New Npower tariff – No Locked-in Period

Npower has launched a new SVT tariff that comes with no-locked-in period. This new tariff from Npower is very different from its existing tariff range. It’s a fully online, reward-based tariff that is 100% automated and hands-off. The new tariff is designed for customers who want to be in control of their energy use, are looking for a simpler energy experience and want to make the most of their energy. If you’re looking for a new energy tariff and don’t want to be tied into a contract, then this tariff is perfect for you.

The new no-locked-in period SVT tariff has no exit fees and lets you change your tariff as many times as you like during the tariff period. So if you’re not happy with your tariff in a few months’ time, you can make the switch. This new SVT tariff is available to new and existing customers.

Here’s what you need to know. – You don’t have to do anything: If you have an existing Npower account, the company is responsible for arranging the installation of your new gas plan at no extra cost to you. – You may see a slight change in your bill: If you have a new gas plan installed, you may see a slight difference on your energy bill as you’ll be charged for exactly how much gas you use. – You don’t have to do anything: If you’re not sure whether or not a new gas plan has been installed at your property, all you have to do is give Npower a call. They’ll be able to tell you if this is scheduled to happen.
